Welcome to the new Wheelco

We’re absolutely thrilled to have launched our entirely new online experience for Wheelco customers. If you’re reading this, you’ll already know that our website has got not only a fresh coat of paint, but an overhauled browsing and buying interface. And this is just the beginning. 

Buying online easier than ever

Whether you’re a DIYer needing a single replacement castor or a commercial operation needing ongoing materials handling solutions, the new Wheelco website makes purchasing a breeze. We’ve refreshed every aspect of the shopping experience from the ability to filter down based on plenty of new criteria to building a quote to send to our team. And the site’s designed to be quick and responsive so you can get back to the job at hand. 

A powerful new search function

We know that many of our customers have specific product details that they like to search with to directly land on that product. For many others, site search is important to narrow down possible options with key phrases. 

The new Wheelco website has a very powerful search capability built in, including the suggestion of products visually as you type your query. You can search using different keywords including the product name, description and application. We hope that if you’re a site search fan, you’ll appreciate our new and improved functionality.

Build a quote

One of the most exciting new features of the Wheelco website is our new Quote Builder. Many of the orders that we fulfill come from an inquiry on a single product and expand to other products during our communications with customers. Now, you can browse our entire range of products across the site and simply add desired products to a ‘Quote List’ section. 

Once you’ve finished adding products, you can click on the quote button and you’ll have a pre-populated quote list that can be sent directly to Wheelco. Our team will then come back to you with the pricing and details - and give you a ring if required to discuss. 

All this happens without having to add anything to your shopping cart or commit any payment details. We’ve designed this to make it easier for you and faster for us to deliver your wheels and/or equipment.

Adding to cart and checking out

If you are ready to buy online, the new Wheelco site makes it easy. Simply add a product and quantity to your cart on the product page. When you’re ready to check out, hit the cart button and your list of items will show up on the right hand side (if you’re on a computer). 

Thanks to our new Shopify platform, adding in your address and payment details is streamlined and likely familiar if you’ve bought from a Shopify store in the past. 

Powerful filtering

Each product that we supply has its own unique specifications including size, mounting, materials, application and weight rating. Many attributes we have added as easy filters on the side of the product category pages - this means if you’re not 100% sure what you need upon landing on our website, the logical navigation and filter checkboxes next to the product grid can be used to discover the right option. 

You can filter at any level of the website - the options will change depending on which category you’re on.

Looking ahead

This is just the start of the new Wheelco digital experience. The team is working on a number of new things to not just assist the purchase of wheels and handling equipment, but equip New Zealand with all the information needed to get the job done better. We’re also committed to demonstrating more of our custom work in each industry, so stay tuned for updates.
